Tomorrow is the National Day of Prayer and this week our focus is on becoming better praying Christians. It is always good to remember the importance of setting the atmosphere around you as well as in your mind so that your prayers are heard.
Last night in Bible study, Pastor Charles read from Matthew 6 and reminded us of the importance of our posture when coming before the Lord in prayer. Pastor reminded us to be purposeful and genuine, to set up our prayers to be heard by the Lord. Today in your worship, meditate on the words of this song and prepare your heart to pray words that are thankful, humble, powerful, and intentional for your life, your purpose, the church, the community, and the kingdom of God.
Let the group know what you are praying for so that we may all add it to our prayer lists in agreement with what God has in store for your life and for others through you! Amen.
