In this time as we are praying to God and asking Him for guidance for the ministry, let us also reflect that desire for direction in our worship lives. God sent the Holy Spirit to be our guide and our comforter after Jesus’ departure from earth, so let us lean on Him. The song says:
“Speak to my heart, Lord, give me your holy word
If I can hear from You, then I’ll know what to do
I won’t go on, I’ll never go on my own
Just let Your spirit guide and let Your word abide”
John 16:13 says “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.”
Hold on to these promises in your time of prayer, whether it be for the ministry or your personal circumstance, and know that God is in control. Amen.
